Norfolk, Va. - A garbage truck driver has been charged after accidentally knocking down a light, knocking it and wires into a busy intersection.
This was not a City of Norfolk garbage truck.
The accident happened on E. Little Creek and Tidewater Drive.
Calls came in at 2:45 p.m.
The truck was going east on Little Creek Road and had its forks up and hit the light.
The intersection was shut down and police had to detour traffic.
The driver was charged with over height vehicle.
