Hampton, Va. – A Hampton officer is receiving praise across the internet for his amazing act of kindness when he encountered a woman who needed help.
On September 1st, Officer Granison was called out to Hampton’s Public Library about a mother and her two children who needed help.
The woman was trying to get home to Georgia and the officer jumped in to help her find bus service, called a friend to help take them to the bus station, and he also bought food and supplies for the family.
Granison and two other citizens purchased bus fare for the family and made sure they were able to get on the bus safely.
He did not tell anyone about his good deed, but a citizen emailed to thank the officer. The footage was discovered after the email was sent officers say.
