Chesapeake, Va. – A car stuck a power pole and took down a few lines with it early Sunday morning in Chesapeake.
According to Emergency Dispatchers, they received a call for a single-vehicle accident involving a Dominion power pole in the 1300 block of George Washington Highway around 9:00 a.m.
Daisy Prigden with Dominion Virginia Power says that the pole was struck, no outages were reported. She says the pole will have to be replaced this week by Dominion crews.
No injuries were reported.
