Newport News, Va. – Police say that a 21-year-old male crashed his motorcycle early Sunday morning in the City Center section of the city.
Officer Brandon Maynard says the 21-year-old lost control of his bike around 1:30 a.m. in the 11800 block of Fountain Way.
He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and driving without a motorcycle endorsement.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
