Poquoson, Va. - Investigators have arrested a former Poquoson City Schools volunteer on multiple child pornography charges.
On September 10, the Internet Crimes against Children organization told police about numerous child porn pictures that were uploaded from a computer.
Detectives tracked the IP address of the computer to the home of 55-year-old Robert Rollins and his 73-year-old mother.
After searching Rollins' house, he was charged with five counts of possession of child pornography and five counts of possession with the intent to distribute child pornography on September 16.
Poquoson superintendent Jennifer Parish told NewChannel 3 that Rollins used to work for Poquoson City Schools back in 1996.
Rollins started working in the maintenance department, and was later paid a small stipend for running the score board and clock at basketball and volleyball games.
Most recently, he was a volunteer statistician for high school varsity football teams.
Parrish says he was never involved with coaching, teaching and supervising students and is no longer involved in any PCPS activities.
