Virginia Beach, Va. – A barricade situation in the 1700 block of Rueger Street has been resolved peacefully, Virginia Beach Police report.
Police earlier reported that one armed man had barricaded himself inside a residence. The situation lasted several hours.
Brandon Middle School in Virginia Beach was briefly locked down as a precaution, but the lockdown has since been lifted.
Police say there is no indication that any charges will be filed.
