WASHINGTON (CNN) — Part of a stage collapsed Sunday while Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina was addressing a crowd in San Antonio.
The backdrop portion of a stage Fiorina was standing on fell around her as she spoke to the National Association of Women Business Owners.
“It appears the drapes and poles fell. Carly wasn’t injured,” Fiorina spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores said in an email.
Texas Tribune reporter Patrick Sviteck posted video of the incident online:
“Everyone appears OK,” the reporter tweeted, adding that Fiorina continued to address the crowd after the incident.
