Norfolk, Va. (WTKR)- The intersection of Military Highway and E. Princess Anne Road is back open to traffic after repairs to a traffic signal pole kept it closed most of the day Saturday.
Norfolk Police say shortly after 5:00 a.m. Saturday morning a driver traveling eastbound on E. Princess Anne Road ran off the roadway as he approached the N. Military Highway intersection. The vehicle struck a traffic pole, cutting the pole in half and causing the hanging traffic signals to fall.
While Police were responding, another driver traveling eastbound on E. Princess Anne Road struck the already low hanging traffic signals.
No injuries were reported and police have not confirmed if the driver will face any charges.
