Hampton, Va. – Hampton Police are looking for information in relation to a shooting that occurred Saturday night in the 1st block of Sinclair Road.
Police say they were called at 11:47 p.m. in reference to shots fired in the area. Officers arrived to find an 18-year-old man suffering from a non-life threatening single gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
An investigation has revealed that the victim was walking in the area when a red, older-model vehicle approached him. Multiple shots were fired from the vehicle, striking the victim once.
The motive and circumstances around the shooting remain under investigation.
No suspects have been identified at this time.
