Norfolk, Va. - Police have identified the man killed in a shooting in Norfolk on Monday night.
The shooting occurred in the 1400 block of Manson Street near Wilson Road.
Calls came in at 9:30 p.m.
When police arrived, they found the victim in the road suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene. He has been identified as 21-year-old Travis S. Whitaker of the 1700 block of Campostella Road.
Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting that led to his death.
