Virginia Beach, Va. – A Virginia Beach man’s losing lottery ticket won him $100,000 dollars.

Rick Kenny made a wise decision when he didn’t throw his non-winning ticket away–he entered it in the lottery’s “$100,000 Home Changer Scratcher Promotion” and won big.
His ticket was drawn fro more than 262,000 entries to win the money in the September 30 drawing.
“I thought for sure someone was playing a trick on me,” Kenny said.
Kenny says usually enters his losing tickets in Virginia Lottery eXTRA drawings to try to win prizes.
It’s easy to say that this time it paid off.
Although the “$100,000 Home Changer Scratcher Promotion” Kenny entered is over, the $100,000 Home Changer Scratcher game is still active with three $100,000 top prizes still unclaimed.
So, what is Rick Kenny’s lottery philosophy?
