Koko, the famous gorilla known for her ability to speak with her trainers via a modified form of sign language, received two super cute presents for her 44th birthday in July.
Koko was presented with a box of kittens — two of which she chose for adoption!
Koko has a history of cat ownership, receiving her first one for her birthday in 1984. The kitten, “All Ball,” was nurtured by Koko just as if it were her own offspring. She went on to own several more kittens over the years.
A video of Koko’s first encounter with her new kittens was posted to her YouTube channel on Tuesday.
