Newport News, Va. – A man involved in a Newport News shooting on Thursday will not cooperate with investigators, according to police.
Police received a call about a shooting in the area of 26th Street and Marshall Avenue around 3:00 p.m.
Police found a 25-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his calf hiding in a nearby business.
Officers are talking to people around the area.
