Norfolk, Va. – Police were called to a scene involving a barricaded person at River Point Apartments.
Norfolk police received a call of a suicidal person and a hostage negotiation team responded to the location, according to Norfolk Police Corporal Wray.
It is unknown if the person had a weapon or if anyone else was in the house.
The 400 block of Painter Street was closed due to the situation, but is now open to traffic.
