Newport News, Va. – One person has been sent to the hospital after a fire started in a Newport News building.
Newport News Fire crews say they received reports of a fire in the back of the Continental Corporation building around 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
Officials say that no signs of a fire were showing when fire crews arrived.
One person was injured and flown to the hospital in the Sentara Nightingale helicopter.
Crews have not mentioned the cause of the fire at this time.
