Chesapeake, Va. – A large pile of debris caught fire in the 4000 Block of Wilcox St. and filled the area with smoke late Friday morning.
Firefighters were called to the fire at 11:52 and arrived eight minutes later.
The fire was quickly brought under control, but generated a lot of smoke in the area and damaged an adjacent building.
There were no reports of injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
