Chesapeake, Va. – A family of three now has to find another place to live after their home was damaged in a fire in Chesapeake on Thursday.
This occurred in the Western Branch section of the city.
Firefighters were called to the fire in the 3200 block of Shadyside Lane at 7:15 p.m.
They arrived 6 minutes later and found smoke coming from a two-story, single family home.
Firefighters contained the fire to the attic of the home.
The cause is still under investigation.
