Police looking for two men in connection with Family Dollar armed robbery

Newport News, Va. – Police need your help finding two suspects in connection with the robbery of a store on October 17.

Police say that around 9:25 p.m., two men came into the Family Dollar  on Jefferson Avenue.

The two pointed guns at the assistant manager and a clerk and demanded money.

The suspects left after they were given an unknown amount of cash.

The first suspect is described as a black male around 5’6″, a dark complexion and a small to medium build. He was last seen wearing a bandanna covering everything below his eyes, a light grey hoodie, black sweatpants and white sneakers. He was holding a silver handgun.

The second suspect is described as a black male around 5’8″ to 5’9″ with a medium complexion.  He was last seen wearing a bandanna, a dark grey hoodie with a Levis logo on the front, faded blue jeans, black and white sneakers. He was holding a black handgun.
