Virginia Beach, Va. – Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush is making his second campaign stop in Hampton Roads on Friday.
He was in Norfolk back in August at the Veterans of Foreign Wars post where he spoke heavily on military action. He promised he would return to Hampton Roads often, and now just two months later, he is back again.
This time around Bush will be at Regent University, launching the school’s series of Presidential Candidate Forums. He was the first out of both top Republican and Democratic candidates to accept the invitation extended by the school.
During the event, the candidates will have a chance to introduce themselves and share their campaign platforms in a “balanced, non-debate format.” Bush will be interviewed by Regent University’s founder and chancellor Pat Robertson.
Chief counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice Jay Sekulow will moderate the audience question-and-answer session with Bush.
The event kicks off at 3:00 p.m. General admission in the theatre has sold out, but the school is still accepting registration for the simulcast seating the in Regent University Chapel.
