VIPIR Forecast: Sunny, cool weather settles in, just in time for Halloween

Posted

Sunny, cooler weather moves in….Say good-bye to the 70s and 80s, well, at least for the next couple of days. Temperatures will cool into the mid 60s by Friday afternoon as high pressure builds over us from the west and our winds turn from the northwest. That wind will usher in some cooler weather right into Saturday. In fact, highs are expected in the low to mid 60s Saturday. Both days will feature mostly sunny skies. By the time we’re trick-or-treating Saturday night, skies will be partly cloudy with temperatures in the mid and upper 50s. So bundle up!  We’ll be a tad warmer by Sunday as highs climb into the mid 70s under partly sunny skies. A few isolated showers are possible. More rain moves in by Monday into Tuesday with our next weather maker from the south.

Also, don’t forget! Set your clocks back one hour before going to bed Saturday night.  Daylight Saving Time ends.

Tonight: Partly Cloudy and Cool. Overnight low temperatures in the mid 60s. Winds: NW 5-10 mph.

Friday: Mostly Sunny. Mild. High temperatures in the mid 60s. Winds: NW 5-15 mph.

Halloween: Mostly Sunny. Mild. High temperatures in the low and mid 60s. Winds: N 5-10 mph.
