Man allegedly robbed by group of teenagers at Family Dollar

Newport News, Va. – A Newport News man was robbed outside of a Family Dollar store on Warwick Boulevard.

It happened on October 29 around 7:00 p.m.

The 38-year-old man was heading to the Family Dollar when he saw a group of teenagers in front of the store.

When the man left the store, one of the teenagers started to follow him, then struck him on the side of the face.

While the man and teen were struggling with each other, two other teenagers stole the victim’s belongings.

The three teens ran away from the area.
