Man dies in Friday morning motorcycle crash in Chesapeake

Chesapeake, Va. – A man died in a Chesapeake motorcycle crash early Friday morning.

The crash involved a motorcycle and a minivan and occurred at the intersection of Cedar Road and Eagle Drive around 6:50 a.m.

Chesapeake Police officers arrived at the scene and found the driver of the motorcycle unconscious. He was transported to Chesapeake Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Upon arrival at the hospital, the man was pronounced deceased.

The driver of the minivan, an adult female, was not injured.

The accident is currently under investigation. Additional updates will be posted as they become available.
