Hampton Roads, Va. - It's Election Day across Virginia and North Carolina!
Polls opened up in Virginia at 6:00 a.m. and in North Carolina at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday morning for voters to cast their ballots in a few key state and local elections.
In one of the key Virginia Senate races, Republican incumbent Frank Wagner was up against Democratic challenger Gary McCollum.
After the results rolled in, Frank Wagner was able to hold on to his seat in the 7th district. The Republican party maintained control of the Virginia Senate.
