Police charge accused Rite Aid shoplifter with robbery

Virginia Beach, Va. – Police have arrested and charged a woman with two counts of robbery after she allegedly shoplifted from a Rite Aid.

Police received a call about a shoplifting incident at the Rite Aid on 840 South Military Highway around 6:06 a.m.

Police say after an employee allegedly fought with the accused shoplifter, she left the store.

The woman was described as a white female with blonde hair in her late 20’s.  She was dressed in a brown jacket.

Police found the woman, now identified as 26-year-old Brittney Lynn Snell, around 6:10 a.m.

Snell is now in Virginia Beach City Jail on no bond.
