Remember the Rockin’ 1000? That’s the group of 1,000 musicians who came together from all over Italy to play the Foo Fighters song “Learn to Fly” in hopes of getting the band to come play a show. Their videohas been watched over 26 million times on YouTube.
The Foo Fighters saw the video and promised to come and play – and this week they made good with a rocking performance.
Dave Grohl even invited the creator of the Rockin’ 1000, musician and adventurer Fabio Zaffagnini, onto the stage to have a seat on his custom throne and address the crowd.
