Norfolk, Va. - Fire officials are investigating a fire at the Big Top Flea Market located at 7600 Sewells Point Road.

The fire started around 2:30am in a shed on the property.

Everything inside the shed was burned. The fire also spread to two work trucks at the Wedgwood Garden Center next door.

The fire was under control around 3:10am.

Fire officials say the fire spread to three vehicles on the property and shed was a total loss.

A retired Vietnam veteran rented out the shed and lost all of his property inside. He tells NewsChannel 3 that the flea market was his only source of extra income. He was too upset to speak on camera, but his friends say the loss was very big.

"He's pretty much broken up," Roy Wells says. "He poured everything he had into it."

No one inside the shed at the time of fire and there were no injuries.
