Several local schools are semifinalists for Northrop Grumman’s “Fab School Lab” contest

On a mission to get kids excited about STEM, The Northrop Grumman Foundation is giving away five $100,000 grants to public middle schools across the nation.

Several Hampton Roads schools are semifinalists.

The Fab School Labs grants will provide the winning schools with a science lab makeover worth $100,000 and you can help pick the winners.

The local semifinalists are Benjamin Syms Middle School, Princess Anne Middle School and Crittenden Middle School.

Everyday this week, five new videos will  be posted here.
