Suffolk, Va. – Two families were displaced after a fire in the 100 block of Chestnut Street in downtown Suffolk.
Fire crews were called to the scene at 11:02 p.m. and arrived on scene four minutes later.
Firefighters say they found smoke showing from the second-floor of the two story duplex. They were able to get the fire under control at 11:26 a.m.
Four adults and five children were displaced as a result of the fire. The Red Cross is assisting.
No one was injured.
