Chesapeake, Va. - A group of Chesapeake preschoolers and kindergartners spent Tuesday morning shopping for groceries to give to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia. The kids earned the money for the groceries from completing extra chores at home over the past several weeks.
The students, all from Primrose School at Cahoon Commons, combined their earnings and made a shopping list before heading out on a field trip to Farm Fresh to fill up their carts!
They filled up 5 carts with $300 in groceries to donate!
