Norfolk, Va. – A Transportation Safety Administration official announced Tuesday morning that a replica handgun was detected at a Norfolk International Airport security checkpoint.
TSA Public Affairs spokesperson Lisa Farbstein tweeted about the incident around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. She says replicas aren’t allowed and that they could cause panic.
This is the third time in less than a week that TSA officials have detected a gun at Norfolk International Airport.
