Newport News, Va. – Newport News Police have arrested Eric Nixon, the second suspect they were looking for in connection to a shooting earlier this month, according to online registry.
In a release sent by Lou Thurston with Newport News police earlier this month, warrants were made for Nixon, 20, for one count each of malicious wounding, attempt to commit a felony and discharging a fire in a public place and two counts each of a firearm in commission of a felony, shooting into a vehicle and five counts of conspiracy to commit a felony.
Hampton Police arrested the first suspect, 18-year-old Ryan Ray Taybron. He is currently being held at the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail on the same charges as Nixon.
