Cloudy but comfortable Sunday on tap

Posted

Clouds will increase on Sunday as a front approaches the region.  There’s the chance (about 20%) for an isolated shower this afternoon but still comfortable temperatures for the end of November with highs in the low to mid 60s.

Then showers develop overnight and become more widespread on Monday. It will also be breezy and cooler as highs reach more seasonable norms in the mid 50s.

More scattered showers are likely Tuesday as the front remains stalled over Virginia and North Carolina.

Then a stronger front moves through on Wednesday with more rain and cooler air settling in.

Highs from Thursday into the first weekend of December will be consistently in the 50s with lows around 40.
