Chapel Hill, NC – The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has resumed normal activities after an alert was issued Wednesday morning regarding a possible armed person on the campus.
According to police, reports said the armed person was near the campus NROTC Building and Venable Hall.
The campus was asked to shelter in place and all classroom and campus activities were temporarily suspended while the investigation took place.
The alert was issued at 8:53 a.m. The “All Clear” was given at 9:20 a.m.
