The American Academy of Pediatrics has published new recommendations for pediatric health care in 2016.

Among those recommendations are depression screenings for ages 11-21, HIV screenings for teens 16-18, and high cholesterol screenings for children ages 9-11.

All of the included recommendations were approved in October 2015 and will be published in January 2016.
