According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, Craftsman has issued a nationwide recall for blower/vacs because the motor can catch fire and poses burn hazards.
The blower/vacs involved in the recall were sold at ACE Hardware, Orchard Supply Hardware and Sears stores between January 2013 through October 2015 for $50 to $100 with model numbers 138.74898 and 138.74899.
There have been seven reports of the blower/vacs catching fire and one person was injured.
