Rain gives way to sunny, chilly weather for the weekend….As we move through this Friday, scattered rain will be possible as an area of low pressure rides along a cold front offshore. Some of the rain could be heavy, at least through the first half of our Friday. Otherwise, expect skies to slowly clear through the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will fall into the lower 50s. Tonight, we’ll see partly cloudy skies and breezy winds with overnight lows in the mid 30s. High pressure builds over the area for the weekend, giving way to mostly sunny skies. It will be quite chilly across the area with highs in the upper 40s on Saturday and near 50 on Sunday. Rain returns next week.
