After a warm stretch of weather it definitely feels like December for the weekend. But don’t put away the short sleeves just yet.
We have clear skies and chilly air for Saturday—and a carbon copy for Sunday. That means overnight lows in the 30s at the coast and 20s inland. Sunday will once again feature sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 40s.
Then the weather roller coaster resumes…
Highs Monday and Tuesday will be in the 60s. Ahead of a front Hampton Roads and Northeastern North Carolina will see 70s by Wednesday and Thursday. In fact records for high temperatures will likely fall up and down the East Coast on Christmas Eve. That comes part and parcel with widespread showers and potentially a few storms; something to keep in mind with travel plans.
