Fire damages downtown Suffolk home

Suffolk, Va. – Suffolk Fire and Rescue units responded to a fire in the 300 block of Cedar Street in downtown Suffolk on Friday night.

Units arrived on scene at 10:25 p.m. after the fire was reported at 10:17 p.m.

Firefighters arrived to find smoke and flames coming from the two-story home.

They were able to get the fire under control by 10:50 a.m.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
