Highland, Utah– (KUTV) – Santa said his reindeer gave out so he had to take a car instead, but his car broke down and burst into flames early Christmas morning before he was able to finish his final delivery in Alpine, Utah.
Before we go any further, Santa was not injured in the incident.
At about 6:30 a.m. Christmas morning, Santa was driving his car in Highland, Utah when his car started on fire said Lone Peak Fire Department Battalion Chief Joe McRae.
Firefighters were able to help out Jolly Old Saint Nick by giving him a ride in a fire truck to his last stop nearby in Alpine.
As for Santa, a few of his friends are trying to get him a new sleigh through a GoFundMe page.
