Nags Head, NC. – Nags Head police need the public’s help to find a man who stole a customer’s purse Tuesday evening.
According to police the suspect walked into the Food Lion at 2515 S. Croatan Highway and removed a purse from another shopper’s cart.
He then fled through the back door of the store.
The purse contained a large amount of cash, check book, and other personal items belonging to the victim.
According to police the suspect is described as a white male, about 5’9” and weighing 185 lbs.
He was wearing a black jacket, black socks, black vans shoes, white shirt, with a white and blue ball cap.
