Hampton, Va. – A 17-year-old man has been arrested in Monday’s shooting at a McDonald’s in Hampton.
The shooting was reported at 10:19pm in the McDonald’s in the 1100 block of West Mercury Blvd. The teen fired one shot after an argument inside the restaurant, then fled before police arrived.
The teen has been charged with one count of Discharging a Firearm in an Occupied Building, one count of Discharging a Firearm in a Public Place, one count of Brandishing a Firearm, one count of Possession of a Firearm by a Juvenile, one count of Reckless Handling of a Firearm, and one count of Discharging a Firearm in City Limits.
He remains in custody.
