Newport News, Va. – A tractor-trailer has run off the road on I-64 eastbound near the Denbigh Boulevard overpass in Newport News.
According to Newport News Police, the tractor-trailer swerved to avoid cars that were stopping abruptly and ran off the road. No one was injured.
At this time, the eastbound right lane and right shoulder are closed. The left lane remains open but traffic is moving slowly.
Traffic backups are approximately 6 miles at this time.
