Virginia Beach, Va. – Most of the power has been restored for Virginia Beach Dominion Power customers, according to their website.

Dominion says the estimated time of restoration for the remaining customers will be between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Over 2,000 customers were without power in the Oceanfront area on Tuesday morning, according to Dominion Power.

Crews arrived to the scene around 10:00 a.m.

The cause of the outage is unknown at this time.

Earlier in the morning, over 100 customers lost power due to a failed transformer.

Officials say all power should be restored by 2 p.m., but they’re making efforts to restore the power by noon.
