Norfolk, Va. - A 23-year-old clerk was shot during a robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 8489 Chesapeake Boulevard shortly after 2:00 a.m.

Now, police need your help finding 38-year-old Kevin Bristow, who police say committed the crime.

Surveillance video shows Bristow approach the counter and hand a bag of Doritos to the clerk.

Seconds later, he pulls out a gun and demands money.

The owner says the clerk was working to open the register, but the process takes about a minute for security purposes.

That minute wasn't fast enough for Bristow, as moments later he shoots the clerk. The clerk fell, then gets back up as Bristow waits for his cash.

Bristow got away with an undisclosed amount of money before police arrived.

The clerk was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover. The other clerk was not injured.

In the surveillance video, Bristow was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black boots. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Detectives have not determined if this robbery is related to the three 7-Eleven robberies that occurred late Wednesday night.
