ODU police make fast arrests in armed robbery

Norfolk, Va.- ODU police arrested two men after responding to an armed robbery that happened early Monday morning.

Antoine Royster Jr., 21, and Kahlia Jackson, 20, a resident of Portsmouth approached the victims with handguns and took personal property from them, according to police.  No injuries were reported.

Both Royster and Jackson have been charged with two counts of armed robbery, two counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and two counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

Both suspects were located and detained by ODU police within 10 minutes of the robbery report, according to police.
