Hampton, Va. – Police have arrested 33-year-old Taloni Stewart in connection with the stabbing of another woman.
Police received a call about a stabbing in the 700 block of Norwood Circle around 2 a.m. on January 10.
Officers found the victim, a 32-year-old woman, with a single stab wound. She was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators say the victim and the suspect knew each other.
Stewart stabbed the victim one time following a verbal argument, according to police.
She is charged with one count of malicious wounding and remains in the Hampton City Jail.
