Police looking for Virginia Beach Jr. Market robber

Virginia Beach, Va. – Police are asking for your help in identifying a man who robbed the Jr. Market on S. Lynnhaven Road. Jr. Market Robbery

The man came into the store and demanded money from the register on January 16 just before 11 a.m.

The robber left the store and ran towards Lee Highlands Boulevard.

The robber is described as a black male, late teens to early 20s, 5’7 to 5’9 with a thin build.

He was seen on surveillance tape wearing a grey hoodie, his face was covered with blue or black cloth of some type, dark sweatpants and black sneakers. He was armed with a large frame revolver with long barrel and carrying a white Jr. Market bag.

“While the picture is not of the greatest quality perhaps you will still recognize him by the way he is standing or you may know him by his clothing description,” police said.
