Virginia Beach, Va.- Virginia Beach Police responded to a fatal car crash Saturday afternoon.
According to dispatchers, the call came in around 3:30 p.m. for a single vehicle crash in the 8100 block of Atlantic Avenue.
When police arrived on scene, they found a male driver who died as a result of his injuries.
Police believe speed and icy road conditions may be a contributing factor.
Westbound traffic on Shore Drive is closed, until further notice.
