Virginia Beach, Va. – Virginia State Police responded to a fatal crash that occurred Saturday morning on I-64 just east of Indian River Road.

The crash involved two vehicles.
VSP say a 2003 Honda Civic driven by 19-year-old Carlee Rose Andrada was traveling eastbound on I-64 when she crossed over the median and into the westbound lanes.
As she crossed into the westbound lanes, her vehicle was hit by an oncoming 2008 Dodge Charger.
Andrada, who was not wearing her seat belt, died at the scene.
The driver of the Charger, 27-year-old Omar J. Barnes of Suffolk, suffered minor injuries.
The drivers were the only occupants of both vehicles.
At this time it is unknown if alcohol played a factor.
