Man shot multiple times in Hampton

Hampton, Va. – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect or suspects in an early morning shooting in Hampton that left a man with life-threatening injuries.

The shooting happened shortly after midnight in the 500 block of Smiley Road.

When police arrived, they found a 25-year-old man suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.  He is listed in stable condition.

There is no suspect description at this time.

Tipsters can also send an anonymous tip via text message to the Crime Line by texting “HAMPTONPDTIPS plus your tip” to 274637 (CRIMES). Crime Line callers remain anonymous and never appear in court. If a Crime Line call results in an arrest, the caller is eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.
